The Events Manager will lead the end-to-end planning, operational delivery and post-event close-out of the 2027 AVCA Annual Conference, AVCA's flagship convening for the African private capital industry. This is a six-month fixed-term role created specifically for the 2027 Conference. The post holder will take ownership of the conference delivery plan and coordinate all operational workstreams from mobilisation through onsite delivery and final reconciliation. The role is project-focused and will conclude once the agreed post-conference reporting, supplier reconciliation, documentation and handover activities have been completed.

TLG Capital is seeking a Portfolio Monitoring Manager to lead monitoring, performance tracking and investor reporting across its African portfolio. The role spans TLG’s funds — Africa Growth Impact Fund I, Africa Growth Impact Fund II, and other vehicles managed by the platform — and ensures accurate, timely reporting at the portfolio company and fund level. The role works closely with the investment, marketing, middle office, and ESG & Impact teams to maintain information flows from portfolio companies to TLG’s management and investors. This is a hands-on role for a self-starter who takes ownership and is comfortable working with imperfect or incomplete information. The successful candidate brings strong financial analysis, discipline to manage concurrent reporting cycles across multiple funds, and the judgment to turn data into investor-ready outputs.

The Senior Investment Director role is to provide senior leadership and hands-on execution capability across the full private equity life cycle – origination, underwriting, structuring, execution, portfolio value creation, and exits – to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns for the IAF’s equity and quasi equity investments. The role is expected to operate at near-Partner level, representing the Fund with CEOs, shareholders, regulators, co-investors and LPs, and leading complex transactions from ideation through to realization.
